2002 Nominee - Jimmy Carr: Bare Faced Ambition
Just before becoming a megastar Carr was playing some vintage shows in much smaller venues than he is used to playing today. His seemingly endless seam of clever one-liners made him a firm favourite at the Fringe and saw him soon after become the face of Channel 4 known for fronting a plethora of shows most notably 8 Out of 10 Cats.
