2007 Nominee - Andrew Maxwell: Waxin'
By 2007 this Irish comedian had become a cult festival favourite at the Fringe and another vintage effort was rewarded by this nomination. Already a big hit in his native country with appearances on The Panel, Ireland's version of Have I Got News For You, Maxwell embarked on his first UK tour in 2010.
