This wiry ginger misanthrope of mirth took the festival by storm with a completely changed act from the musical one that was nominated for newcomer in 2006. Lawrence has since appeared at Montreal's Just for Laughs festival and his TV work includes a role in the Johnny Vegas sitcom Ideal.
